Movers Deal case Study The companyMovers Deal is a coast to coast Lead provider company. As part of the process of modernizing their services and increasing market share, they requested a complete marketing package, one that included a tighter corporate identity, and a host of approachable online services. Custom Solution We built a custom solution around their specific demands, after conducting extensive analysis. The package we offered included a new company identity to better represent the company, a marketing campaign that include website banners and offline printed materials, a website that needed to deliver on several fronts, from an on-line ordering system, to an online estimate for moves and full autonomous administrative capabilities. The results were felt almost immediately, and the increase in productivity and efficiency was very noticeable. We expect an even bigger impact as time goes by and the marketing campaign and search engine optimizations yield bigger output. Solutions The approach In order to provide the best solution for Movers Deal, we began the project by analyzing the relevant market and deciding on our approach. We sat down with company management to understand what their goals were in undertaking this project. Following several analysis cycles, we broke down our approach to several distinct categories. Corporate Identity What's in a logo In this case, it was clear a complete renovation of Movers Deal company identity was in order. We began by designing a logo that clients can relate to. As per the client's request it was made Blue, and the overall design was to be the shape, inspired by a feeling of professionalism, yet also to feel young and fresh.
We performed a short research on similar logo designs, and came up with several designs of which we picked the one that seemed to fit best. Movers Deal formed its Corporate Vision following our guidelines, focusing on our market analysis and the market share they were after and this in turn also influenced the design of the company logo. Piecing it together In addition, we designed an entire host of additional marketing bonanza, including company T-Shirts, official letters and paperwork, printed brochures, and other miscellaneous written material, which amongst other things included a written memo circulated among Movers Deal employees to formulate a collective identity, helping the employees understand the direction and vision of the company. Marketing Success on a shoestring Marketing is perhaps the single most important element for a company's commercial success. By researching the market and target audience, and thus knowing who to target and how to so, we helped Movers Deal achieve better resource management, in turn increasing profits and minimizing expenses Analyzing the market We researched Movers Deal respective competition - who they are, what is their marketing strategy and target audience, and so forth, and then formulated an annual plan with specific goals. We found strategic partners to help solidify Movers Deal company identity. Spreading the word We've contacted relevant sites that could host commercial banners, and we've designed custom fitting banners for each. We are currently looking into advertising through companies such as Google. Not all the commercial effort went into online ventures - we ran several newspaper spreads, and circulated a printed brochure summarizing the main activities of Movers Deal in order to attract potential costumers. An inside company memo was circulated, instructing employees on how to improve their salesmanship skills and further instill the company vision. Search Engine Optimization What does it mean? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a general term for the process of improving a site's ranking on search engines such as Google and Yahoo. There are invisible parts in a website page that are intended for specific uses, one of those is to be seen by the scanning programs ran by internet search engines. The right combination of invisible key words and description, along with relevant content can significantly enhance a site's ranking on searches performed using those search engines. Ranking Movers Deal We began by researching the way most people search for moving sites on the web, and came to the conclusion that search engines are saturated by simple word searches such as "Moving" or "Movers", and so the probability of inserting Movers Deal into the top 5 in those searches during the first half year is practically impossible (using fair means).We decided to target more specific and local word searches first, such as "Fort Lauderdale movers", and optimized all the site's pages by correctly constructing each for improved indexing by search engines indexing tools. The site is also built so that with time as it more traffic passes through it, it will also build its way up the more general word searches. Online Services What was needed? The demands of the various services needed to be provided online were extensive. We built an wide set of custom tools, following surveys and market analysis, to enhance the delivery of content and to increase employee productivity - cutting down on phone conversations time, data gathering time and much more. How we did it We've created several unique features such as an online call center which informs salesmen immediately of clients requesting information, two different moving estimate forms designed for different types of clients, a complete set of self-administrating tools for non-technical users, secure credit card ordering system and much more. Results After effects After the site went online last month, and the marketing campaign was fully underway, the results were already felt across the board: An increase of over 300% in site traffic for the Movers Deal site, compared to the previous month. Much of this can be attributed to the Search Engines Optimizations performed. An increase of over 180% in sales generated by the site compared to the previous month. The ease in which potential costumers can access information and receive moving estimates has immediately improved revenues generated by the site. Overall increase in efficiency, by reducing expenses and work forces required for upkeep and handling of the site. An increase of over 600% (!) in site traffic coming from searches on search engines such as Google and Yahoo. An increase in Movers Deal brand awareness. Clients have responded that they relate better to the new logo, and feel that Movers Deal projects a more professional image following the corporate identity makeover.
